Senior Thesis Clock

"A thousand little cuts” describes the compounded psychological wounds people in marginalized groups experience due to microaggressive acts. The sharp reflective shards represent those acts as reflections of society as a whole.

This clock was the first part of my senior thesis, with my social issue topic being microaggression. I made this clock out of acrylic and spray paint, cut each piece with a laser cutter, and reassembled them on the base.
